HBX CORe Live Blog describes in detail the preparation for, participation in, and overall thoughts regarding the January 2016 cohort. Content here is decidedly different than the content at Lochwood Johnston. This website will live blog the preparation for, participation in, and over all thoughts regarding HBX CORe. HBX CORe is HBS‘ new complimentary approach to online business education. The reviews on the Net suggest that it is well worth tuition but is more rigorous than most students may have initially thought. Given that little in life is easy or comfortable, I would encourage all who read this to seriously consider applying to the program.
At this point in time I cannot find a website that describes in detail what it is like to take CORe. While writing this blog, I will make every attempt to ensure that I respect the HBX’s intellectual property. If at any time HBX would like me to modify any content that they feel not in the best interests of the students taking the course, I will be happy to do so.
HBX CORe does not release course material prior to the beginning of the cohort making it difficult to prepare ahead of time. One can imagine a situation in which one is engaged in a demanding internship while at the same time taking HBX CORe. In such a situation it would be helpful, some would argue necessary, to prepare for HBX CORe well ahead of time. Needless to say, additional content to supplement HBX CORe would be intellectually satisfying in its own right and needs no further discussion.
Content which I believe may be helpful can be found on Lochwood Johnston. Please feel free to suggest content under the appropriate page.
